Elk Grove Village is hosting a Paint & Motor Oil Recycling Event! This event is limited to Elk Grove residents. IDs will be checked and business items will not be accepted.
The following items will be collected at this event:
- Motor Oil - Containers will be emptied at the recycling event and returned to residents.
- Paint (Latex or Oil) in cans or containers.
- Anti-Freeze - Containers will be emptied at the recycling event and returned to residents.
Please note that the following items will NOT be accepted at this event:
- Dried up paint (please dispose of in your curbside containers!)
- Non-architecture paint
- Spray paint
- Stains
- Sealants
- Solvents
- Leaking cans or containers
- Household Hazardous Waste (materials purchased for cleaning or maintaining a home, such as aerosol cans, household cleaners and pesticides)
