The Village of Elk Grove is looking for certified applicants to complement our Police and Fire Departments. The Police Department has 90 sworn officers and 4 PSOs. The Fire Department has 84 sworn firefighters. Consider a career in serving our community and apply today!

Citizenship	Must be a U.S. citizen or meet requirements for citizenship; must be able to read, write, and speak English	Must be a United States Citizen and must speak English
Education/Licenses	Must possess IDPH or National Registry EMT-Paramedic license Must be legally eligible to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Illinois and must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s license at the time of hire	Completed 60 semester college credit hours from an accredited college or university *-OR-* must have served 24 months of active duty or 180 days of combat duty as designated by the Department of Defense in the United States Armed Forces, and have not been discharged under circumstances other than honorable Possess a valid state-issued driver's license
