PRESIDENTIAL GENERAL ELECTION IS NOVEMBER 5, 2024

Elk Grove Village Nomination Petition Filing – 2025 Consolidated Election

Candidate nominating petitions for the Tuesday, April 1, 2025 Consolidated Election for the offices of one (1) Mayor, for a four-year term, three (3) Village Trustees, each for a four-year term, two (2) Library Trustees, for a six-year term and one (1) Library Trustee for an unexpired 2-year term, will be accepted at the Village Clerk’s Office during regular business hours at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, starting at 8:30 a.m. on November 12, 2024 through 5:00 p.m. on November 18, 2024.

If petitions are filed for the same office at 8:30 a.m. on the first day or between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on the last day of filing, a public lottery will be held to determine the order of candidates’ names on the ballot for the first and last positions on the ballot.

Early Voting

Anyone living in Suburban Cook County can vote at the Village Hall during the Early Voting period.

Note: You have two options with Mail Ballots. Take them to the Post Office to be mailed to Cook County or you can hold them until Early Voting begins. There will be a ballot drop box at Early Voting.

Residents can register and vote at the same time during Early Voting. Please bring 2 forms of identification, one with your current address. (utility bill, photo ID, etc.)

Monday - Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sundays, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

POLLING PLACES IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE

ON NOVEMBER 5, POLLING PLACES ARE OPEN FROM 6:00 A.M. TO 7:00 P.M.!

Residents must vote at their polling place on Election Day. The Cook County Clerk's office mails out voter registration cards for every election and on that card has your precinct number and the name of the location of your precinct.
