Special Events
Elk Grove Village has many special events throughout the year. Residents and visitors are encouraged to attend these fun events. They include Rotaryfest, Hometown Parade, Mid-Summer Classics concert series, and the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Blood Drives 
Village of Elk Grove hosts quarterly blood drives on Saturday mornings throughout the year brought to you by Vitalant. All blood drives are hosted at Village Hall. 901 Wellington Ave.

Open Houses
The Village's Public Works Department and Fire Department Hosts annual Open Houses for residents of all ages to learn more about each departments functionality within Elk Grove Village.

Coffee with the Board
The Coffee with the Board provides an opportunity for residents to meet with Board members in a relaxed atmosphere and discuss any topics, issues, or questions that matter most to the community.

Coffee with the Mayor  & Board is held on a quarterly basis on Saturday morning

Meeting Rooms
The Village offers the use of meeting rooms free of charge to be used for civic, cultural, and public information or events of Elk Grove Village groups.

Neighborhood Block Parties
As a means to build social bonds in neighborhoods, block parties are encouraged by the Village to take place during the warmer seasons.

Community Events Sign
Neighborhood groups and organizations have the option of displaying information of interest to the general community through the Village's community events sign.
