Our digital production facilities make EGTV look and sound better than ever before, as well as increase our capabilities. EGTV IS ON ROKU, AMAZON FIRE and APPLE TV!   

If you've decided to cut the cord and own a Roku, Amazon Fire or Apple TV (Version 4 or later) streaming device, you can still watch all your favorite EGTV programming both LIVE and On-Demand! Just go to the channel store on your Roku or Amazon Fire or the App Store on Apple TV and search for either the Cablecast App, EGTV App or the Boxcast App, then add it to your channel lineup. There is no cost for the channel, and the programs are presented in full 1080p HD Quality. Check it out! 

EGTV INSTALLS A NEW PLAYBACK SYSTEM!

EGTV has recently initiated changes to its playback and on-demand systems, giving viewers an improved picture and sound along with new ways to watch our locally produced video programming. These upgrades include:

New program guide – EGTV’s new program guide is clearer, more colorful and includes video PSAs promoting the Village. News headlines, weather, EGTV’s social media information and emergency crawls when needed will also be included. 

New EGTV bug – EGTV’s video bug will be featured during video programming only and is shown in full color for a more professional look.

New video on-demand site – EGTV’s on-demand site has a new address and can be reached through the EGTV On-Demand link on our website in the menu on the left hand side of the page. The site includes a livestream of programming and archived videos organized by show title. If you wish to look at a previous EGTV program and don't see it listed, email us at channel6@elkgrove.org and we'll add it to the archive.

New mobile site – EGTV programming is available through the Cablecast App available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store at no cost. Once you download it and search for EGTV, every time you open the app afterwards it will automatically show EGTV first.
