PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Monday, October 7, 2019 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, the Plan Commission of the Village, acting as a Zoning Commission, will conduct a public hearing to consider the petition submitted by Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores, Inc. and Gullo International (property owner) to open a 24-hour automobile/truck fueling station and convenience store in an I-2 Generalized Industrial District. The petitioner is seeking a text amendment along with associated variations from the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance. In order to allow an automobile/truck fueling station within the I-2 Generalized Industrial District, the petitioner is requesting the following text amendment: Amend Section 7E-4: Special Uses in I-2 Industrial Districts to add the following:

Automobile/Truck Fueling Stations

The property is located at 1900 Busse Road, Elk Grove Village, Illinois and legally described as follows:
LOT 49 IN CENTEX INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NUMBER 24, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 34, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, (EXCEPTING THEREFROM THAT PART THEREOF CONVEYED TO THE STATE OF ILLINOIS BY DEED RECORDED AS DOCUMENT NUMBER 21204984) IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS. PIN 08-34-403-012-0000
