Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Village Hall is closed and the Zoning Board of Appeals hearing will take place via teleconference.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 8-2:D of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village will conduct a public hearing at the hour of 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020 via teleconference, to consider the petition of Sebastian and Erin Falinski seeking variations from the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance No. 2410 as it pertains to permitted locations for fences in residential zoning districts. 

Section 3-7: D(3) prohibits fences from being constructed within the required front yard and beyond a line extended from the nearest front corner of the principal building located on an adjacent single-family residential lot. The petitioner is requesting to install a four (4’) foot high, open type fence which will extend approximately nineteen (19’) feet beyond the nearest front corner of the principal structure on the adjacent single-family residential lot to the west at 630 DuPont Court and which will extend approximately twenty-three (23’) feet beyond the nearest front corner of the principal structure on the adjacent single-family residential lot to the south at 640 Delaware Lane.The property is located at 632 DuPont Court, Elk Grove Village, Illinois and identified by the following property identification number:
