As part of Elk Grove Village Cares, AMITA Health and the Village of Elk Grove will be hosting a family support group meeting on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at 7pm in Room E of Village Hall, 901 Wellington Ave.
The EGV CARES program not only helps addicts with recovery options but provides support to families and loved ones that are impacted by an addicts struggle with addiction.
Amita Healthcare and Elk Grove Village Social Worker Des Raftery encourage strong family and community support. As a community we must overcoming the stigma of addiction and treat addiction as a disease.
