The annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony welcomes in the winter holiday season. This annual event has been kicking-off Elk Grove Village’s holiday season since 1998. The 2021 ceremony will feature a holiday performance by Paul Revere's Raiders!

Following the performance, Paul Revere's Raiders will join Mayor Johnson in throwing the switch to light up the Village's Holiday Tree and turn on over 250,000 lights around the Municipal Complex, Elk Grove Public Library, and the Elk Grove Park District Pavilion.

A special fireworks display will follow the tree lighting, announcing the entrance of Santa and his elves. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided.
