PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 8-2:D of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village will conduct a public hearing at the hour of 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, to consider the petition of Kaleb Jordan, Corgan, seeking a variation from the provisions of the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance No. 2410 as it pertains to permitted locations and heights of fences in industrial zoning districts. Section 7E-9: (A) prohibits fences in excess of six feet (6’) and from being constructed in the required front yard and ahead of the building setback line. 

The petitioner is requesting to install the following:

  • A fifteen (15’) foot high concrete screen wall which will extend approximately twelve (12’) feet west beyond the front of the principal structure along Busse Road.

     

  • An eight (8’) foot high ornamental black security fence with decorative columns which will extend approximately sixty-nine (69’) feet south beyond the front of the principal structure along Pratt Boulevard. 

  • An eight (8’) foot high ornamental black security fence along the north and east of the property.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 8-2:D of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village will conduct a public hearing at the hour of 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, to consider the petition of Taras Napora seeking a variation from the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance No. 2410 as it pertains to permitted shed heights in residential zoning districts. 

Section 3-7: D (6) prohibits sheds from being constructed in excess of twelve (12’) feet in height measuring from the highest finished grade to the highest point of the shed. The petitioner is requesting to permit a shed with a height of thirteen feet, four inches (13’-4”) measured from the highest finished grade to the highest point of the shed.

ELK GROVE VILLAGE

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 8-2:D of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village will conduct a public hearing at the hour of 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, to consider the petition of Rafal Zalewski is seeking a variation from the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance No. 2410 as it pertains to permitted shed size in residential zoning districts. 

Section 3-7: D (6) prohibits sheds in excess of one hundred fifty (150) square feet in area.  The petitioner is requesting to install a three hundred (300) square foot shed containing one hundred (100) square feet of enclosed area and two hundred (200) square feet of partially enclosed area that will remain open on two (2) sides.
