PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 8-2:D of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village will conduct a public hearing at the hour of 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14 , 2022, at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, to consider the petition of Paul Wicoff, Burr Computer Environments, Inc., seeking a variation from the provisions of the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance No. 2410 as it pertains to permitted heights of fences in industrial zoning districts.
Section 7E-9: (A) prohibits fences in excess of six feet (6’). The petitioner is requesting to install an eight (8’) foot high ornamental black security fence.

Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, to consider the petition of Matthew Williams, Gensler, seeking variations from the provisions of the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance No. 2410 as it pertains to permitted building height, number of required loading spaces, and fence height and locations in industrial zoning districts.
Section 7-1, Dimensions, Bulk and Area Regulations for the I-2 Zoning District, permits a maximum building height of sixty (60’) feet.
Section 4-4-1, Schedule of Loading Spaces, requires a minimum number of five (5) loading spaces for a building that is between one hundred twenty thousand and one (120,001) and two hundred thousand (200,000) square feet of Gross Floor Area.
Section 7E-9 (A): prohibits fences to be erected in excess of six (6’) feet in height and from being constructed in the required front yard and ahead of the building setback line.
The petitioner is requesting a building height of sixty-five feet six inches (65-’6”) to the top of the screen wall, a decrease in the number of required loading spaces from five (5) to two (2), and the installation of an eight (8’) foot security fence to be located in the required front yard.

Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, to consider the petition of Robert Pinzur, attorney, on behalf of Jorge Martinez and Lourdes Lydia Martinez, seeking a variation from the provisions of the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance No. 2410 as it pertains to permitted locations of fences in residential zoning districts.
Section 3-7: D (3) prohibits fences from being constructed within the required front yard and beyond a line extended from the nearest front corner of the principal building located on an adjacent single-family residential lot. The petitioner is requesting to install a six foot (6’) high fence which will extend approximately nine feet six inches (9’-6”) beyond the nearest front corner of the principal structure on the adjacent single-family residential lot to the east at 349 Maple Lane. The fence will replace an existing six foot (6’) high wood fence in the same location.
