PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 8-2:D of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village will conduct a public hearing at the hour of 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, to consider the petition of Daniel Nawara seeking a variation from the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance No. 2410 as it pertains to permitted locations for fences in residential zoning districts.

Section 7A-1: (B)(2)(b) states that fences greater than four feet (4’) in height and not more than six feet (6’) in height, may be located not closer than ten feet (10’) to the street side property line between the front edge of the house and the rear edge of the house. The petitioner is requesting a six foot (6’) high fence which will be located approximately seven feet (7’) from the property line where it will attach to an existing approved fence located approximately seven feet (7’) from the property line. 

The property is located at 201 Parkchester Road, Elk Grove Village, Illinois and identified by the following property identification number:

All persons interested are invited to attend and will be given the opportunity to be heard. This hearing will be accessible to individuals with disabilities.
