NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A PRE-ANNEXATION AGREEMENT
AND THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY BY THE
ELK GROVE VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 6:45 p.m., the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, in the Council Chambers of the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, will hold a public hearing pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/11-15.1-3, to consider a pre-annexation agreement between IL-720 Rohlwing Rd LLC and the Village of Elk Grove Village, and thereafter at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Board of Trustees will consider the passage of ordinances authorizing the annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, of certain territory contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village.
The property which is the subject of the pre-annexation agreement and potential annexation is not within the corporate boundaries of any municipality and consists of approximately 102.38 acres located south of Rohlwing Road / Martingale Road and is legally described as follows:

THE EAST 3/4 OF THE SOUTHEAST 1/4 (EXCEPT THE SOUTH 20 ACRES THEREOF) ALSO (EXCEPTING THAT PART FALLING ROADS) SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
It is proposed that the subject property be subdivided pursuant to Village Code and all other statutory requirements into three (3) platted lots and zoned as O-T Office Transitional District with a Special Use Permit for a Planned Development. An accurate map of the subject property proposed to be annexed to the Village and the form of the proposed pre-annexation agreement are on file with the Village Clerk and may be inspected during regular business hours. You are further notified that the form of the proposed pre-annexation agreement may be changed, altered, modified, amended or redrafted in its entirety after the public hearing.
All persons appearing at said public hearing will be afforded an opportunity to be heard. Written comments may be submitted to the attention of the Village Clerk, c/o Elk Grove Village Hall, at the address aforesaid or by email at LMurphy@elkgrove.org, and will be considered if received at least five (5) days prior to the hearing. Such public hearing may be continued from time to time by the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Elk Grove Village without further notice, except as may be required by the Illinois Open Meetings Act.
