INVITATION FOR BIDS
BID NUMBER:  PD-2324-02
BALLISTIC SHIELD PURCHASE 

The Village of Elk Grove Village will receive sealed bids to provide Safariland Protech Intruder G2 size 20x34, Point Blank Vanguard-VL size 20x34 and shield carrying bags all in accordance with the enclosed Specifications and Contract Document No. PD-2324-02.  Prospective bidders are advised to carefully review the General Conditions and detailed Specifications of this document.

To obtain bid documents, please e-mail Elk Grove Village Police Department at EGVPD2024Bid2shields@elkgrove.org.  The Village may also request additional documents of proof as an authorized seller of shields.  

Once received by the Village, an electronic bid proposal packet will be sent via e-mail to the approved bidder(s).  To check on the status of receiving a bid document call the Elk Grove Village Police Department at (847) 357-4110.

Bids will be received until 10:45 AM on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024 and opened at 11:00 AM, local time. The bid opening will be held at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Complex, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, 60007 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read. All bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above. Bids transmitted by facsimile or email will not be accepted.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Complex, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove, Illinois, 60007 and marked to indicate the following:
