The Mission of the Elk Grove Village Fire Department is to provide the highest quality fire protection, rescue emergency medical services, and safety education.

The Elk Grove Village Fire Department provides 24-hour fire, rescue, and paramedic services from three (3) fire stations located strategically throughout the Village. In 2019, the Fire Department responded to nearly 6,000 incidents; of more than 4,100 of these were emergency medical responses.

When emergency services are needed, please call 9-1-1. If you are outside the village limits and/or have voice over internet (VOIP) and require emergency services within the Village of Elk Grove, the number to be used in place of 9-1-1 is (847) 590-3474.

The Fire Department Administration is located in the Charles Zettek Municipal Complex located at 901 Wellington Avenue. The non-emergency contact number is (847) 734-8000. The Inspectional Services Division can be reached at (847) 734-8020.
