Programs offered by the Elk Grove Village Fire Department include cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automatic external defibrillation (AED) education, fire extinguisher training, and station tours for school groups and community organizations. The Fire Department conducts regular presentations at Elk Grove Village schools, educating children about fire safety, home fire escape planning, and fire prevention. We also offer an annual Citizen's Fire Academy and host an Open House every October for National Fire Prevention Week.
