The Support Services Division of the Elk Grove Village Police Department is comprised of Criminal Investigations, Youth Investigations, Administrative Services, Records Section and the Social Services Section. Eighteen (18) of the eighty-seven (87) sworn personnel and eighteen (18) civilian personnel work within the Support Services Division.

The Support Services Division works to provide support to the Field Services Division through follow-up investigations, crisis interventions, evidence gathering, residential/business security inspections, crime prevention programs, professional services, social service, and records support.
