The Elk Grove Village Police Department is committed to professional service to the community. The Elk Grove Village Police Department carefully recruits, screens and hires only the most qualified employees. We are very proud of our staff and their commitment to the needs of the community.
We encourage anyone who has had contact with the Police Department and/or its employees to voice their compliments, concerns or complaints.
Compliments, concerns or complaints may be made in person at the Police Department, by telephone (847-357-4100) or in writing. Any Shift Supervisor or Watch Commander can receive your compliment, concern or complaint. They will be happy to assist in resolving any issue or may refer you to another appropriate Department supervisor.
Letters regarding compliments, concerns and complaints may be reported. However, anonymous concerns or complaints are difficult to investigate and resolve.
The Elk Grove Village Police Department is committed to working with the community in providing the highest level of police service. We appreciate and encourage citizen communication with the Police Department. It allows us to improve community relations and, hopefully, allows you to have greater confidence in your Police Department.
