Project Description

The Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways will be resurfacing Plum Grove Road from Nerge Road to Higgins Road.  Work will include pavement patching, curb and gutter removal and replacement, roadway median improvements, shoulder widening, sidewalk and ADA ramp improvements, and more.  Lane closures and restrictions are anticipated through the durations of the project.  Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use caution when traveling in these areas or seek alternate routes. The project is being led by Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways, and is anticipated to have ongoing construction until completion in 2025.
