Project Description

The Village will be extending its storm sewer system to address drainage issues within the Village right of way. The project will include the installation of storm sewer, inlets, and catch basins.

Project Updates

November 17, 2023: This week asphalt roadway patches were placed over the sewer trenches. Sod was also installed at all locations. Next week, the will finalize the punch list and complete the project.

November 10, 2023: This week all remaining concrete curbs, aprons, and sidewalks were restored. Landscaping also began across all locations. Next week, the roadway will be completely restored with asphalt patches.

November 3, 2023: This week, Martam Construction installed storm sewer and inlets on Verde Lane, between Corrinthia Drive and Lilac Lane as well on the south leg of Cooper Court. Curb was also poured on Elmwood and Ash, and Verde and Lilac.  Next week, concrete work will continue on Cooper Court, followed by placing asphalt on the roadway patches.

October 27, 2023: This week, Martam Construction installed storm sewer and inlets on Elmwood Lane and Ash Street. Next week, pipe installation will begin at Verde Lane between Corrinthia Drive and Lilac Lane, followed by the south leg of Cooper Court. Curb and road restoration will also begin upon completion of the pipe installation.

October 20, 2023: This week, Martam Construction performed layout and saw cutting for the project. Material was also delivered to the site. Next week, pipe installation will begin at Creighton Avenue, just south of JFK Boulevard. Work will follow at Verde Lane, between Corrinthia Drive and Lilac Lane, Elmwood Lane, between Spruce Lane and Ash Street, and the south leg of Cooper Court.
