Project Description

This program includes the replacement of Village-owned sidewalk at various locations that are fragmented, heaved, or sunken. The program also replaces curb that is affecting drainage within the roadway. The program is broken into a spring and fall phase.

Project Updates:

July 19, 2024: The concrete replacement program has completed the summer list of locations.  The contractor will return in October to complete the fall list.   

July 5, 2024: Globe Construction is continuing the concrete replacement program removing and replacing sidewalk in various locations around the Village. Globe started on the west side of town and are currently working on the east side of town.

June 28, 2024: Globe Construction is continuing the Concrete Replacement Program by removing and replacing sidewalk in various locations around the community. The contractor began on the west side of town and is working to the east. The program aims to reduce vertical separations and standing water on sidewalks and curbs throughout the community. 

June 21, 2024: Globe Construction began the 2024 Concrete Replacement Program this week, removing and replacing sidewalk in various locations around the Village.  The program aims to reduce vertical separations and standing water on sidewalks and curbs throughout the Village.
