PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Monday, August 3, 2020 at the hour of 7:00 p.m. at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, the Plan Commission of the Village, acting as a Zoning Commission, will conduct a public hearing to consider the Special Use petition submitted by the Village of Elk Grove.
The petitioner is seeking a Special Use Permit to construct a cellular communications tower in the R-3 Residential Zoning District. The proposed monopole tower is being relocated from its existing location at 1000 Oakton Street. The petitioner is requesting a variation from Section 7-1: Dimensions, Bulk and Area Regulations for all Zoning Districts to permit the installation of a one hundred thirty-five foot (135') tall structure along with associated variations from the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance pertaining to setbacks, fence heights, parking and number of structures on a lot.
