CARPET REPLACEMENT – VILLAGE HALL & PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING

Elk Grove Village will receive proposals to provide the necessary labor, materials and equipment for the replacement of carpet at Village Hall & the Public Safety Building. Including the removal of old carpet and moving furniture all in accordance with the enclosed Specifications and Contract Document.  Prospective contractors are advised to carefully review the General Conditions and detailed Specifications of this document.

All bidders must be prequalified prior to receiving bid proposal packets. Bid documents and prequalification forms are available on the Village’s website www.elkgrove.org/bids. Once the prequalification form is reviewed and approved by the Village an electronic bid proposal packet will be sent via e-mail to the approved bidder(s). To check on your prequalified status call the Elk Grove Village Public Works Department at (847) 734-8800.

For the purpose of familiarizing bidders with the services required and answering questions, a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building located at 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois.    Attendance by the bidder or their representative at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory.

Bids will be received until 10:45 AM on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 and opened at 11:00 AM, local time. The bid opening will be held at the James Paul Petri Public Works Facility, 450 E. Devon Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, 60007.  All bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above.  Bids transmitted by facsimile or email will not be accepted.

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Public Works Department, Village of Elk Grove Village, 450 E. Devon Avenue, Elk Grove, Illinois, 60007 and marked to indicate the following:
