Certifying Courses: 

Heartsaver CPR AED course/Heartsaver Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course

This is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult, child, and infant CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking. This course teaches skills with American Heart Association’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the student’s learning of skills. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

BLS CPR AED Healthcare Provider Course/Basic Life Support (BLS) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) course

This BLS instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics. This course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in safe, timely, and effective manner.

Class Cost: $60.00

Informative Course: Learn basic CPR. Not certification seeking.

Friends and Family CPR Course

This course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult hands-only CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using American Heart Association’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. Friends and Family CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card. This course is ideal for schools and students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters, and others interested in learning how to save a life.
